I have rarely left the course as frustrated as I was on Friday afternoon. The long game finally came together to some extent, but my putter let me down completely. I practically didn't make a single putt for two days and so I missed the cut in Crans by three strokes.

The last few weeks really seem to be a bit of a mess. Either the long game is good or the putting is good, but never both together.

Nevertheless, as always it was a great tournament in Crans Montana. It's always special to be able to tee off in front of a home crowd on such a great course. Many thanks to everyone who was there and/or followed the tournament from home.

Now I'm taking a break this week and hope that I'll still be able to make one or two starts on the DP World Tour in the coming weeks. As the fields are getting smaller towards the end of the year due to the limited sunlight, I have to hope for some cancellations from other players so that I might still be able to get into a dress tournament. Otherwise, I'll play the remaining events on the Challenge Tour.
